Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for producing diverse, high-quality communications, including, but not limited to: blogs, brochures, webinars, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, corporate documents, and other promotional materials, including a variety of corporate documents. You will develop clear and compelling content consistent with PROLINK’s tone and mission to drive engagement across digital and traditional channels, which may include: websites, social media, print, email, and other platforms. This position will report to the Marketing Director, but may also take direction from other senior marketing associates and specialists, as well as the COO and CEO of PROLINK.


  • Write monthly blog posts on a variety of insurance-related topics, including: risk management, insurance education and products, industry trends, thought leadership, and more;
  • Conduct research on latest industry trends and consumer challenges to create content that will effectively connect with appropriate target markets;
  • Work with other departments and teams (Home & Auto, Life & Health, Commercial Programs, Enterprise) to create, edit, and update marketing collateral as needed (i.e. flyers, internal documents, presentations, infographics, ads, etc.);
  • Proofread, edit, and optimize content produced by teammates prior to publishing to ensure strict adherence to strategic focus and branding guidelines;
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team when necessary to develop content concepts and messaging in line with overall business and marketing objectives;
  • Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will meet many to most of the following requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is mandatory (prefered to be in a related field, but we are open to other fields if the right candidate presents themselves). A Masters degree is an asset, but not required.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a similar role. Exposure to the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong writing and editing skills and attention to detail. A clear communicator who can effectively translate complex ideas and industry topics to a broad audience in an engaging way. Knowledge of marketing programs and applications (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, AfterEffects, PremierePro, WordPress, MailChimp) is a plus; however, design will not be the primary focus of the role, and we will teach you whatever you need to know.
  • Softer Skills: A self-driven and dedicated team player who enjoys participating in the creative process and working with others to develop innovative ideas. Someone with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn. Comfort with managing multiple demands, with proven organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
